Srinivas Hospital starts ICU on Wheels
Mangaluru, Dec 06, 2022: Taking a step ahead in reaching out to the patients more effectively, Srinivas Hospital has started the ICU on wheels Ambulance service.
It is co-sponsored by Karnataka Bank.
Karnataka Bank Managing Director and CEO Mahabaleshwar M.S handed over the ambulance to Srinivas University Chancellor Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao in the presence of Bank GM Vinaya Bhat and University Pro-Chancellor Dr. A. Srinivas Rao.
The ambulance is equipped with Advanced Cardiac Life Support equipment. The ambulance facility is available to all the residents of Mukka. It will also provide free pick-up of patients within a radius of 5-10 km within Srinivas Hospital, Mukka.

The idea behind this service is to provide pre-hospital care to patients by initiating treatment during the golden hour. The ambulance also has the facility of a GPS tracker along with the camera, which is connected to the Emergency Medicine Department. The doctor at Emergency Department can deliver the treatment protocol visualize the condition and monitor the patient. This will bring healthcare closer and more accessible to the public.
