St. Mary’s College organizes study tour
Shirva, Nov 24, 2022: Department of Computer Science and IT Club of St Mary’s College, Shirva,
jointly organized IoT Project Development Project Study Tour to Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar today.
Such study tours provide students ample opportunity to learn about the latest trends and advancements in technology.
Chief Guest Ajay Princeton Pinto, Director, IQ Matrix, Mangaluru, addressed the workshop. He said that IoT development means integrating hardware parts and software programs.
He added that the Internet of Things has already transformed into an industry of its own, so the need for reliable and comprehensive developer toolkits has also increased. IoT hardware devices represent the IoT development tools needed to create complex applications.
Padma Prasad, a resource person from IQ Matrix, Mangaluru, interacted with the students on various educational issues to complement the innovations related to technological development, and the vision of modernity.
The program was held under the direction of Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, Principal of the college. Dr. K E Prakash, Principal of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Anand S Uppar, Head, MCA department, Prof. Saraswati, Prof Prakriti S Bandari, Lt. K. Praveen Kumar, Head of Department of Computer Science and IT Club Director Lecturer Prakash, BCA students and others were present.
College students Deepak M, Bhavani Shesh, Sukesh, Anup Nayak, and Alistair helped in the workshop.
