Srinivas Hospital observes World Heart Day
Mangaluru, Sept 20, 2022: On the occasion of World Heart Day, Srinivas Hospital Mukka organized a 5 km Walkathon from Surathkal junction to Srinivas Hospital, Mukka.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. A.Srinivas Rao, Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University.

Dr. Subramanyam, the chief interventional Cardiologist, Professor, and Head of the Department of Cardiology, who addressed the gathering, stressed the importance of healthy living with lifestyle modification.
He also emphasized that regular health checks and follow up will keep the heart healthy. He spoke about the importance of stress-free life.

Dr.Subramanayam also spoke on the need for regular cardiac evaluation for individuals after 40 years. It would help in early detection and prompt intervention, thereby preventing future major cardiac-related complications. The theme for the year is “Use heart for every Heart”.
Srinivas Hospital in association with the staff, students, General Public, and various associations conducted the Walkathon. More than 1000 people participated in the event.
