Attavar: Vedavyas Kamath performs Bhoomi Pooja for road work
Mangaluru, Aug 05, 2022: MLA Vedavyas Kamath performed Bhoomi Pooja for the development of the road near Manipal School in Attavar ward.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Rs 1.5 crore has been released under the Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Vikas Yojana for the development of the road.
“Emphasis has been given to the works that have been in demand for many years. Improvement of canals, drainage system, and road construction works are being undertaken as part of the development of the city,” he said.
Nitin Kumar, former chairman of KFDC, Shailesh Shetty Attavar, local corporator, Sandeep Garodi, chairman of MCC Health standing committee, Bhaskar Chandra Shetty, nominated member of MCC, Vijay Kumar Shetty, BJP Mandal president, Roopa D Bangera, general secretary, Raghuveer Babugudde, president of SC Morcha, were present on the occasion.
