Heavy rain: Holiday for schools and colleges in Mangaluru sub division
Mangaluru, July 30, 2022: Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Dr. Rajendra KV declared a holiday for schools and colleges in Mangaluru sub division on Saturday following heavy rain in the region.
“Heavy rains with thunderstorm and lightning were recorded in Mangalore City Corporation area, Ullal, Mulky, Moodabidre, and Bantwal taluk. Considering the safety of the children, a holiday has been declared on Saturday throughout Mangaluru Sub division (MCC limits, Mulky, Moodabidre, Ullal, and Bantwal taluk) to all the Anganwadi centers, Primary and High Schools,” the DC said.
