St Mary’s College organizes Tech Manthan 2022
Shirva, July 14, 2022: “We are in a competitive and technological era. There are many opportunities in every field. To utilize them, students should acquire various skills through competitions. Each competition will help the younger generations in shaping life skills as well as personality development. It will also provide a platform to showcase their talents,” said St Mary’s College Principal Dr. Herald Ivan Monis.
He was delivering his presidential address during the inauguration of Tech Manthan 2022 IT competition.
The event was organized for the BCA students by the IT Club of the Computer Science Department.
Lt. K. Praveen Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science and Director, IT Club, spoke about Tech Manthan.
“Quiz, discussion coding, gaming, rangoli, mock interview, poster making, PowerPoint presentation competitions are organized to enhance the skills of the students,” he said.
Sri Devi Prasad Shetty, Hardik Salian, Varshit Shetty, and Denson Bryn Nazareth were felicitated on the occasion. They had recently won the prize in the gaming competition organized by Shree Devi Institute of Technology.
Students Manvitha S Suvarna, Padmashri Bhat, Royson Joseph Barboza, Nivedita Nikhil Poojary, and Pratwin Bangera expressed their views on the competition.
Lecturers Divyashree B, Prakash, K. Pranitha, all the faculty members of the BCA department, non-teaching staff, and students were present. Preetika read out the prize list.
Sanath Kumar Shetty, Rakshith Poojary, and Anup Nayak co-operated. Priyanka offered prayers. Srishti welcomed the gathering and Vidhath Shetty delivered the vote of thanks. Elrusha Melina D’Sa compered the program.
