Karwar, July 12, 2022: A school health check-up camp was inaugurated at the Naval KG School, Karwar on July 12.
The maiden event was held as part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebration.

It was aimed to screen general health including oral and personal hygiene of all students.

The camp is being conducted by INS Kadamba in coordination with INHS Patanjali under the aegis of Headquarters, Karnataka Naval Area, and will endeavor to examine more than 1800 students of Naval KG School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and Navy Children School (NCS) Karwar from July 12 to July 22.

A special school health card designed for each student recording their height, weight, and overall medical and dental examination status, was released by Goolrukh Anand, President NWWA, Karwar in presence of other dignitaries.

This would be helpful as a medical record. The camp will benefit in the early detection of ailments among the children and help in achieving “Health for All”.
