Gold worth Rs 31.31 lakh seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, July 03, 2022: The customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 602.200 grams valued at Rs 31,31,440 from a passenger on July 1.
The male passenger hailing from Kasargod had arrived from Dubai on Air India flight.
The gold was concealed in yellowish-brown colored paste-type material in the packet of milk powder inside a brown carton box carried as check-in baggage.
