Karwar: Wounded person gets medical attention
Karwar, June 29, 2022: Police and social activists of Karwar have admitted a person who was suffering from a severe wound on his leg and was visibly mentally disturbed.
A person was seen wandering in Kadra and nearby areas for the last few days. His behavior was strange and scared the villagers, especially the women and children. The severe wound on his leg made his appearance still worse.
CITU activists Shyamnath and Mari Shetty brought this to the notice of social activist Madhav Nayak. Nayak who is the president of the Janashakti Vedike also heads the Red Cross Disaster Management team. As soon as he received the information, Nayak decided to get the person admitted to the hospital. He called Govinda Dasari, Police Inspector of Kadra Station.
Immediately Sub Inspector Pratap Pachapagola along with ASI Madhav Phala, Constables Gopal Chauhan, and Nagaraja Timmapura went to the place. The person was sent to the district hospital through Arogya Kavacha Ambulance. The person is being treated at the hospital.
Residents have thanked the Police team led by Govinda Dasari and activist Madhav Nayak for their quick response in solving the problem.
