Rain damages houses in Kaup
Udupi, June 25, 2022: Rain accompanied by wind has damaged five houses in Udupi district.
Officials said that the house of Raghu Mestri of Belapu, Purushottama Shettigar of Moodabettu, Sushila of Nadsalu, Sadashiva Achari of Hejamadi, and Gauhar Khan of Belapu were partially damaged. All the five houses are in Kaup Taluk.
Udupi district recorded an average rainfall of 44.1 mm.
