Gold worth Rs 29.12 lakh seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, May 28, 2022: Customs Officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 560 gram gold worth Rs 29.12 lakh from a passenger on May 28.
The passenger from Bhatkal had arrived from Dubai. The gold packed in three oval shaped packets in paste form mixed with solid gum was attempted to smuggle through concealment in rectum, officials said.
