Honnavar: National level Beach Volleyball postponed
Karwar, May 19, 2022: The National level Beach Volleyball scheduled to be held at Eco Beach in Honnavar has been postponed.
The District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and Department of Tourism will organize A national-level floodlit Beach Volleyball Tournament from May 27 to 29 at Kasargod Eco Beach in Honnavar taluk.
But as the IMD has issued rain alert from May 15, the tournament has been postponed.
It will now be held in the last week of October or by november 2022, the assistant director of the department of youth empowerment and sports said in a release.
