Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 10.62 lakh at MIA
Mangaluru, April 18, 2022: Customs officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 199 gram gold worth Rs 10.62 lakh on April 18.
The gold was seized from a male passenger from Kasargod who had arrived from Dubai on April 17 night. Gold in the form of one cylindrical rod was concealed inside the shaft of the IKON brand citrus juicer.
Officials have registered an offense case.
