Goa Governor visits Udupi Sri Krishna Matha
Udupi, March 18, 2022: Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai visited Udupi Sri Krishna Matha today. He offered prayers to Sri Krishna and other deities.
He offered ‘Gograsa,’ to the Cattle at the Gaushala near the Matha and received Anugraha Mantrakshate from Paryaya Peetadhipathi Sri Vidyasagara Tirtha Sripadaru.
Tahsildar D Archana Bhat, Matha Divan Varadaraj Achar were present.
Later he visited Sri Pejawara Matha. He was welcomed by Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Sripadaru’s Personal Secretary Vishnumurthy Acharya, Krishna Bhat.
The governor offers floral tribute to Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Sripadaru and later had discussions with Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji.
The seer felicitated the governor.
Vasudeva Bhat Perampalli explained to the Governor the various works undertaken by the Udupi Asta Mathas.
