Mangaluru, Feb 06, 2022: It is a general belief that nothing can be grown as an intercrop on the Rubber plantation. But Suresh Balnadu of Puttur has proved this theory wrong.

Guys on Wheels take us to this farmer who has seen success in his unique effort.

Students, farmers, researchers visit his plantation and have discussions and get suggestions. The plantation is an example by itself and would prove a silver lining for the rubber growers who have lost hope due to the low price.

Suresh Balnadu has 600 rubber trees and has grown two pepper creepers under each tree. His achievement has been identified by the government. Agriculture and horticulture departments, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)- Mangaluru have honored him.

Suresh Balnadu narrates his story and motivates others in this interview.
