Budget analysis program held at Srinivas University
Mangaluru, Feb 06, 2022: College of Management & Commerce of Srinivas University organized a Budget Analysis Program at its Pandeshwar campus on Feb 4.
The panel discussion- Voice of Young India on the Union Budget 2022 was intended for MBA students.
Chancellor Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Pro-Chancellor Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Vice-Chancellor Dr. P.S. Aithal, and Meghana S. Rao were present.
The panel consisted of guests from various fields. CA. S S Nayak, Builder & Developer Dharmendra B. Mehta, Journalist P.B. Harish Rai, Industrialist Dr. Sharath Rao, Professor Narayan Kayarkatte participated in the discussion.
In his presidential address Dr. CA. A Raghavendra Rao spoke about the need for reforms in certain policies. He appreciated aspects of the budget. He encouraged students to participate and organizes such events.
Dr. A. Srinivas Rao stressed the need for a yearly stock-taking session as well by experts on the milestones covered each year on the progress of policy initiatives. He expressed the need for panels and bodies making adequate referendum to the Union Government and decision-making bodies promptly to channelize the needs and thoughts of the common man.
Registrar Development, Dr. Ajay Kumar, and deans of other colleges of Srinivas University participated in the session.
The session was moderated by Prof. Manoj Louis.
College of Management and Commerce Dean Prof. Keerthan Raj welcomed the gathering, MBA Program coordinator Prof. Amith delivered the vote of thanks.
