Kateel Mela revises Yakshagana timings
Mangaluru, Dec 27, 2021: In the backdrop of night curfew, Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Prasaditha Yakshagana Mandali, popularly known as Kateel Mela has decided to hold short duration shows.
Kateel Mela is one of the famous and busy Yakshagana Mela in the state.
The Mela’s shows are held till morning. But with the state government imposing a night curfew from December 28, the temple administration and Mela management have decided to hold short duration shows. From December 28 to January 7 the shows will be held from 3.30 pm to 9 pm, an official statement from the Mela and temple said.
Other Melas too are likely to take similar decisions.
