Mangaluru, Dec 19, 2021: The South Western Railway has opened Yatri Nivas at Subrahmanya Road Railway Station.

Kukke Subrahmanya is one of the most popular pilgrim destinations in South India. Subrahmanya Road Railway Station is the nearest station to Kukke as well as Dharmasthala.

The Railway Station is a witness to a continuous flow of pilgrims throughout the year from every nook and corner of the country. On auspicious days and weekends, the number swells.

The Yatri Nivas houses separate blocks for ladies, gents, and people with mobility issues. Railway passengers can use the toilets and bathing facilities in the Yatri Nivas free of cost before leaving for the temple. A dressing room and baby feeding facility are also available in the ladies’ waiting room.

Rahul Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, South Western Railway, Mysuru Division has stated that these facilities will go a long way in providing upgraded amenities for pilgrims reaching Subrahmanya by rail.
