Anantha Chaturdashi celebrated at Paniyadi Lakshmi Ananthapadmanabha Temple
Udupi, Sept 20, 2021: ‘Anantha Chaturdashi’ was celebrated with great devotion at Paniyadi Sri Ananthapadmanabha Temple in Udupi on Sunday. This year the interest and happiness among the devotees doubled as the celebration is held for the first time after the renovation of the temple.

The flower decoration was a special attraction.
The Temple with Sri Ananthapadmanabha as the presiding deity has a history of over one thousand years and is managed by Puthige Matha. The temple was renovated under the leadership of Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripadaru of Puthige Matha.

Panchamrutha Abhisheka and Alankara Pooje were held in the morning. Many devotees participated in the ‘Anantha Kadali Samarpane’ and the Kalpokta Kalsha Sahita Pooje.

After the ‘Palla Pooje,’ the ‘Sarvajanika Anna Santharpane’ was held as part of ‘Nompu.’ Lakshmi Shobhane and Bhajan programs were held in the evening followed by Hoovina Pooje and Ranga Pooje.
