Free Kidney disease detection camp at Dr. T M A Pai Rotary Hospital
Karkala, Sept 14, 2021: Dr. T M A Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala will organize a Free Kidney disease detection camp on September 17 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kirthinath Ballal said Kasturba Hospital Manipal Nephrology Department Head Dr. Shankar Prasad N and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohan V B will participate in the camp.

Based on the suggestion of the doctors the first 50 needy patients will be provided free testing of Blood Sugar, Lipid profile, serum electrolytes, serum creatinine, and urine test.
Swelling around the eyes in the morning, swelling in hands and face, lack of hunger, vomiting, frequent urination at night, BP at a young age, weakness, blood or puss in urine are some of the indications of kidney disease. Those who are suffering from diabetes for many years can also attend the camp.
