DK, Hassan Deputy Commissioners inspect Shiradi Ghat

Mangaluru, Aug 21, 2021: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K V along with Hassan DC R Girish today held a joint inspection of NH 75 near Shiradi Ghat today.

This stretch of NH 75 was damaged last month.

Landslide last month had damaged the NH 75 due to which restriction was imposed on vehicle movement on Shiradi Ghat. Very heavy vehicles are still not allowed to take this route.

On Saturday Dr. Rajendra K V and Girish visited the spot along with the National Highway Authority Project Director and other officials.

“We inspected the restoration works,” DC Dr. Rajendra told reporters. Later the DC also visited the Bisile Ghat stretch.
