Restrictions on vehicle movement at Shiradi Ghat

Mangaluru, Aug 16, 2021: Deputy Commissioner of Hassan District has issued a fresh order on the movement of vehicles on NH 75 at Shiradi Ghat.

Restriction was imposed on the movement of the vehicles on Shiradi Ghat was affected after a landslide near Marnahalli in Hassan district last month. Now the Hassan DC has issued fresh orders on the movement of vehicles on the Ghat section.

Vehicles permitted to take Shiradi Ghat (from 6 am to 6 pm)
Car, Jeep, Tempo, Mini Van, Two Wheelers, Ambulances, Public vehicles including Buses, Rajahamsa, Airavatha, 20-ton capacity goods vehicles, and 6 tire vehicles.

Vehicles that are banned from taking this route (they have to take the alternate route mentioned earlier)
Bullet tankers, Ship Cargo Containers, Long Chadsis Vehicles, Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Multi Axle Truck Trailers, and all types of heavy goods vehicles.
