Train movement restored
Mangaluru, July 18, 2021: As expected, the train service has been restored after the mudslide on the track at Kulashekara near Mangaluru was cleared on Sunday.

According to sources, the stretch was restored and track fit certificate was issued on Sunday morning. Train No 02978 Ajmeer-Ernakulam Marusagar Weekly special train was the first to pass the restored stretch at around 8.30 am from Thokur towards Mangaluru.
Kochuveli-Shri Ganganagar mail Express special left Mangaluru at 9.08 am (delay by 4.48 hours).

Though the restoration work has been completed, Southern Railway has decided to cancel two trains.
Cancellation of Trains:
1) Train no. 06163 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Kochuveli Bi-Weekly Special journey dated 19/07/2021 is fully cancelled.
2) Train no. 06345 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Thiruvananthapuram Central ‘Netravati’ Daily Special journey dated 20/07/2021 is fully cancelled
