Mangaluru, July 17, 2021: The mudslide on the track near Kulashekara is likely to be cleared by Sunday morning.

Earlier in the day, the railways had decided to operate Mangaluru Central- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Matsyagandha) special from Mangaluru Central at 6 pm.

But as the work has not been completed yet, officials said it would start from Surathkal station at 6.30 pm. All the passengers from Manglauru would be taken in the special bus till Surathkal.

Train no. 06586 Karwar – KSR Bengaluru Daily Special journey on Saturday has been fully cancelled.

Train no. 06164 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak (T) ‘Garib Rath’ Bi-Weekly Special journey on Sunday is fully cancelled.

Train no. 06346 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Lokmanya Tilak (T) ‘Netravati’ Daily Special journey on Sunday is fully cancelled.

Rescheduling of Trains :

  1. Train no. 09261 Kochuveli – Porbandar Weekly Special journey commencing at 09.15 hrs on 18/07/2021 is rescheduled ex. Kochuveli  at 7.15 pm on July 18 i.e. 10 hrs late.

Railways makes special bus arrangements for passengers

Mangaluru, July 17, 2021: As the trains on the Konkan route are unable to reach Mangaluru Junction and Mangaluru Central stations due to the mudslide at Kulashekara, arrangements have been made to pick and drop the city-bound passengers at Surathkal railway station.

Special buses are arranged between Mangaluru and Surathkal for the passengers.

Train No. 01133 Mumbai CSMT – Mangaluru Junction Express Special departed from Mumbai CSMT on July 16 and scheduled to arrive at Mangaluru Junction on July 17 will be terminated at Surathkal.
Buses are arranged for passengers to reach Mangaluru.

Train No. 01134 Mangaluru Junction – Mumbai CSMT Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru Junction at 4.35 pm today will start from Surathkal at 5.15 pm. Buses are arranged for the passengers from Mangaluru Junction to reach Surathkal.

Train No 02619 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Mangaluru Central daily special (that departed on July 16) has been short terminated at Surathkal and partially canceled between Mangaluru and Surathkal.

Train No. 02620 Mangaluru Central – Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Matsyagandha Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 12.40 pm on July 17 is rescheduled. It will now depart from Mangaluru Central at 6 pm. Mudslide on the track is likely to be cleared by then.

Train no.02617 Ernakulam Junction – Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on July 17 is diverted via Erode, Renigunta, Gudur, Bhopal , Nagpru, Itarsi and Bina.

Train no.06338 Ernakulam Junction – Okha Express Special scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on July 17 is diverted via. Erode, Renigunta, Ballarshah.

Train No. 06083 Thiruvananthapuram – Nizamuddin Express Special scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram on July 16 diverted via. Erode, Renigunta, Ballarshah

Train No.06346  Thiruvananthapuram – Mumbai  Lokmanya Tilak Netravathi Express Special scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram today is  diverted via. Mangaluru Junction , Padil , Hassan and Madgaon
