Kasturba Hospital donates masks for SSLC students

Manipal, July 16, 2021: Kasturba Hospital- Manipal handed over 30,000 masks to Udupi Deputy Commissioner on Friday.

These masks will be distributed to the SSLC students on exam day by the Education Department.

Kasturba Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Avinash Shetty handed over the masks to Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh at his office today. 

Manipal Group was the first private hospital in the state to dedicate Dr. TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi for treating Covid-19 patients during the pandemic 2020. 

The District Scouts and Guides will take responsibility for its distribution to the students. 

DDPI NH Nagura, Scouts and Guides District Commissioner Dr. Vijayendra Rao, and other officials were present.
