St Mary’s College Shirva celebrates World Environment Day

Shirva, June 05, 2021: The lockdown and the Covid rules did not dishearten the NCC cadets of St Mary’s College Shirva from celebrating World Environment Day.

While they could not organize a program, the students ensured they did not forget their duty and expressed their love towards nature.

The NCC unit of St. Mary’s College, Shirva celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings in the courtyards of their homes today.

College NCC unit officer Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar symbolically planted a Tulsi sapling and motivated the youth to take part in such activities.

Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, Principal of the college conveyed his best wishes. NCC unit Assistant coordinator Yashoda, Senior Cadet Under Officer Ramadas, Junior Under Officer Pravita Acharya, and Rion Rishi Alphonso and all cadets supported.
