Missing fisherman found dead at sea near Gangolli

Gangolli, March 10, 2021: The fishermen who went missing after falling from the boat while fishing was found dead at near Gangolli.

Pandu (47) and others had been fishing on ‘Sagardeep,’ boat on March 6 evening around 6 pm.

They had finished fishing and were returning on March 7 around 2 am. The boat was about 5 km from the Gangolli Harbor when a huge wave hit the boat. Pandu lost balance and fell into the sea. Fishermen are searching for him. Gangolli police had registered a missing case.

On March 9 evening, around 5.30 pm his body was found in the sea, about 4 km from Gangolli harbor. An Unnatural Death Report (UDR) has been registered at Gangolli Station.
