Patient commits suicide
Karkala, Feb 26, 2021: A 54-year-old cancer patient committed suicide at his house today morning.
Police said that the patient hailing from Kukkunduru village, Karkala was suffering from cancer for the last three years. Cancer was not cured despite treatment at a private hospital in Udupi.
Saddened by this he committed suicide by hanging in his bedroom when nobody was at home between 8.30 am and 9.30 am today.
Karkala Town Police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR).
