Yediyurappa visits Sri Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha
Bengaluru, Dec 24, 2020: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa went down memory lane during his visit to Sri Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha on Thursday.
Yediyurappa was at Vidyapeetha to participate in the programme organized on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Sripadaru’s sanyasa deeksha.
Speaking about his association with Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Sripadaru of Pejawara Matha, Yediyurappa recollected the days during Sri Rama Janmabhoomi movement.
Yediyurappa, who was at Ayodhya during the campaign, recollected Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Sripadaru installing Sri Rama Lalla’s idol at the temporary shelter at Ayodhya and also his achievement and service to society and various revolutionary steps initiated by him.
Before the stage program, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the Vrindavana of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha.
Pejawara Matadhipathi Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Sripadaru recollected the help extended by Yediyurappa to Udupi Asta Mathas.
MLAs Ravi Subrahmanya, K Raghupathi Bhat, Vidwan Prabhanjanacharya, Matha Manager Keshva Acharya, Scholars Badarinachacharya, Gururaj Kalkur, Krishna Bhat, Vishnumurthy Acharya, and others were present.
