Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha visits SC colony
Udupi, Dec 20, 2020: Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Sripadaru of Pejawara Matha had taken the revolutionary step of visiting SC/ST colonies a few decades ago. Today his disciple Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha did it again at Udupi.
On Sunday Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtharu, one of the members of Sri Ayodhya Rama Mandir trust visited the SC colony at Palekatte in Kadavoor village of Udupi district today.
Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtharu is visiting various places and meeting people from all sections of the society right from Governors of various states to the common man seeking support for Rama Mandir.
On Sunday he visited the colony with 120 houses and about 400 residents.
Local corporator and social worker Vijaya Kodavoor and social worker and scholar Vasudeva Bhat Perampalli had visited the colony two days before and informed the residents about Swamiji’s visit. The residents who were happy at the arrival of Sripadaru had decorated the colony and extended a warm welcome.
Swamiji who went to some of the houses lit ‘Sri Rama Deepa,’ and gave Rama Mantra Deeksha to them. He then went to Sri Mookambika Bhajana Mandira, situated in the colony, and offered pooja.
Sripadaru asked the residents to offer prayers to Sri Rama in the backdrop of temple construction. He also asked the people to follow the principles of Lord Rama.
He also distributed Laddu Prasadam on the occasion of Sri Subrahmanya Shashti.
