SOF Intl Olympiad Ranks : Aniket Lokesh Hegde of Expert bags first rank
Mangaluru, Nov 03: Students of Expert PU College, Mangalore secured State 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks in the Olympiad Examinations 2019-20 conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has been conducting Olympiad tests in Mathematics, Science and English at National and International levels for many years. This year the students of Expert PU College have secured a total of 16 ranks in the top 10 ranks.
Aniketh Lokesh Hedge of Expert PU College won the 1st State Rank in Mathematics Olympiad test (24th rank at the International level), Samarth Yalwar secured the State 2nd rank in the Science Olympiad (36th rank at the International level), Dheeraj S. Kori secured the State 3rd Rank in Science and 8th rank in Mathematics and Rishad Shetty secured 5th Rank in the Science examination.
Raj Aniketh Reddy secured the State 4th rank in English and 7th Rank in Science, Ashutosh P. Kalyan Shetty secured 4th rank in Science, Shashank P. 5th rank in Mathematics and 6th rank in Science, Shreyas S. 7th rank in Science, Anush Babu Shetty 7th Rank in Mathematics, Megus Fernandes 9th rank in Science, Shivan S. 9th rank Mathematics, S.C. Gourish 10th rank in Science and Varun Gowda A.B. has secured 10th rank in Mathematics examination.
Students from 56,000 colleges of 1400 cities of 32 countries appeared for this examination this year.
In a function held at Expert PU College recently the Chairman of Expert Group of Institutions, Prof. Narendra L. Nayak gave away the medals, cash prizes and certificates instituted by the Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi.
He also congratulated and commended the students’ achievements.
