Cultural Vibrancy on Display at Srinivas University
Mangalore, Aug 31, 2024: The Srinivas University City Campus in Pandeshwara buzzed with energy as it hosted a vibrant Cultural Fest, organized by the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and the Department of Interior Design. The event marked a decade of success for the Srinivas Tigers and showcased the university’s rich cultural landscape.
One of the key highlights of the fest was the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Srinivas Tigers, featuring a captivating performance of Tiruvadira, a traditional dance from Kerala, which added a cultural flourish to the festivities.
Adding to the festivity was a delightful spread of culinary creations by students of the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism. From savory appetizers to mouthwatering main courses and desserts, the dishes were a testament to the students’ culinary expertise, elevating the atmosphere with both taste and presentation.
Several dignitaries graced the event, including Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism Dean Prof. Prashanth Prabhu, Institute of Management and Commerce Dean Dr. Venkatesh Amin, Institute of Port Shipping and Logistic Management Dean Dr. Sonia Noronha, Institute of Physiotherapy Dean Dr. Rajasekhar S., Institute of Education Dean Dr. Padmanabha C.H., and Institute of Computer Science and Information Science Dean Dr. Subramanya Bhat. Their presence highlighted the university’s commitment to both academic excellence and cultural celebration.
Student Joshua delivered the welcome address, and student Aqeefa skillfully hosted the program, adding a personal touch to the day’s events.
