Uttara Kannada: Holiday for Schools and PU Colleges on July 20

Karwar, July 19, 2024: In response to the heavy rainfall affecting the region and in the backdrop of IMD issuing red alert the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has declared a holiday for all schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in the district on July 20.

This closure applies to all government, aided, and private primary and high schools, as well as PU colleges, ITI and Diploma colleges across the district, ensuring the safety of students and staff amidst the adverse weather conditions.
