Expert PU College Hosts Orientation Program for Hostel Students and Parents
Mangaluru, May 31, 2024: “Work more and talk less” is the success mantra strictly followed by many successful individuals, said Professor Narendra L Nayak, chairman of the Expert Group of Institutions, during the orientation program for first PU hostel students and their parents at Expert PU College, Kodialbail, on Wednesday.
Professor Nayak emphasized the importance of time management and encouraged students to utilize their time wisely to boost productivity and stay ahead in their respective fields.
He assured parents that their children would receive top-notch education and explained the academic rigor at Expert, emphasizing its benefits. Professor Nayak welcomed the newly admitted students into the Expert family by administering an oath.
Ankush N Nayak, Director of Information Technology at Expert Group of Institutions, discussed the technological advancements incorporated within the institution to ensure smooth operations. He cautioned that technology is a double-edged sword and advised students to focus on its positive aspects.
Professor Ramachandra Bhat, Principal of Expert PU College, Kodialbail, delivered thought-provoking remarks, underscoring the importance of holistic education and critical thinking.
B. Vinay Kumar, a member of the academic committee, outlined the academic plan, highlighting the college’s dedication to academic excellence and overall development. Shyamprasad S, coordinator of AICE, briefed the students about various competitive exams and the prestigious institutions they can aspire to join to achieve their dreams.
The program began with a warm welcome by Ms. Anusha K, a lecturer in Biology, who also hosted the event. Ashwini Pai, Students’ Welfare Officer for girls, proposed the vote of thanks. The program coordinator, Radhika Bhat, lecturer in Physics, along with other faculty members, were also present at the event.
