Expert PU College Kicks Off Academic Year with Inspiring Orientation Program
Mangaluru, May 28, 2024: At the orientation programme held for the first-year PU students and their parents at Expert PU College, Kodialbail, Professor Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert Group of Institutions, emphasized the invaluable nature of time.
“Time is valuable because it is finite. Once time is lost, it can never be recovered. Therefore, it is important to use time wisely and productively to excel in studies,” said Professor Nayak, presiding over the event at Kootakkala Auditorium, Shri Bhagavathi Temple, Kodialbail.
Addressing the new students, he advised them to aim for academic excellence by setting clear objectives and working diligently towards achieving them. He also inducted the newly admitted students into the Expert family by administering an oath.
Ankush N Nayak, Director of Information Technology at Expert Group of Institutions, detailed the advanced technical facilities available at Expert. He emphasized the importance of basic technical knowledge in the current era, including the use of online class platforms and digital payments, particularly on the Expert campus.
Professor Ramachandra Bhat, Principal of Expert PU College, Kodialbail, provided an overview of the institution’s norms. He stressed that discipline and regularity are crucial for success in any field.
B. Vinay Kumar, a member of the academic committee, shared the academic planning roadmap for 2024-25 and discussed its execution. Additionally, Shyamprasad S, coordinator of AICE, briefed attendees on competitive examinations leading to professional courses, offering valuable guidance to aspiring students.
Anusha K, lecturer in Biology, welcomed the gathering, Students’ Welfare Officer for boys, Prashanth Pai, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme coordinator, Radhika Bhat, lecturer in Physics, along with other faculty members, were present.
