Srinivas University organizes ORTHOCON-2023
Mangaluru, Dec 20, 2023: Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy hosted ORTHOCON-2023, a National Conference centered on “Patient-Centered Approach in Knee Rehabilitation: Bridging the Gap Between Evidence and Practice,” at Saffron Hotel on December 16.
Dr. A Srinivas Rao, Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University, inaugurated the event. He urged the students to embrace opportunities, tackle challenges, and strive for success.
Dr. R Kamalakannan, Secretary of Physiotherapy, provided insights into the significance of the Orthocon National-level Conference.
Distinguished speakers, including Dr. J.N.Sravana Kumar, M.P.T., Head of the Department of Physiotherapy at NIZAM’S Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad; Dr. Soni Srikantaiah, M.P.T., Associate Professor at Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru; Dr. Dhananjay Jayavel, M.P.T., MD & CEO of Spectrum Physio PVT LTD, Bengaluru, and founder and general secretary of Bengaluru Physiotherapists Network; Dr. S. Rajashekar, PT, Ph.D., Dean, and Professor at the Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University, Mangalore; and Dr. H. Karvannan, PT & PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Physiotherapy, Manipal College of Health Professions, Bengaluru, shared their expertise on various topics.
