Karnataka Government Shuffles Police Leadership: Changes in Mangaluru and Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, September 5, 2023: Anupam Agarwal has been appointed as the Police Commissioner for Mangaluru City, succeeding Kuldeep Kumar Jain.

Changes in the police leadership have also taken place in Udupi district, where Dr. Arun K, formerly the Principal at the Police Training Centre in Kalaburgi, will assume the post of Superintendent of Police (SP).

Hakay Akshay Machhindra, who is presently serving as the SP has been transferred. The order issued by the government does not specify the new assignments for both Kuldeep Kumar Jain and Akshay Machhindra.
