Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences Organizes Dental Treatment Camp at Ramakrishna Ashram
Mangalore, June 25, 2023: On the occasion of Public Health Dentist Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry staff at Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences took the initiative to organize a dental treatment camp at the esteemed Ramakrishna Ashram in Mangaluru.
The event, held on June 25th, aimed to provide comprehensive oral health checkups and necessary dental treatments to 75 resident children.
Under the guidance of professionals, including Dr. Sreevidya, Dr. Ardra, and a dedicated team of interns, the camp proved to be an opportunity to enhance the oral well-being of the children. In addition to receiving essential dental procedures, the young attendees were also imparted with crucial oral health information. They received detailed instructions on effective brushing techniques, maintenance of oral hygiene, dietary guidelines promoting oral health, as well as preventive measures to combat tooth decay and gum problems.
As a gesture of encouragement and appreciation, each student was presented with a stationary kit, symbolizing the commitment of the dental practitioners to instill good oral health practices among the younger generation.
The camp witnessed the presence of Dr. Sreevidya, Dr. Ardra, the interns, and Swamiji (Warden) of Ramakrishna Ashrama.
