Pramod Madhwaraj urges people to get tested for COVID

Udupi, Sep 04: With the number of cases and deaths increasing in the district, Former district in-charge Minister and senior Congress leader Pramod Madhwaraj requested those with COVID symptoms to get themselves tested.

“While Udupi had succeeded in controlling COVID in the initial stage, it has alarmingly increased like in other parts of the country. The only effective way to control it is to get tested,” he requested people.

“I have seen people neglecting the symptoms initially but rush to the hospital when the health condition deteriorates. It proves dangerous and I have seen many die. So if anybody develops any symptoms of COVID, they should immediately get themselves tested,” he requested.

He also asked the people not to heed to any rumors and join hands with the district administration in fighting COVID.
