Kumta reports highest number of COVID case in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, Sep 04: With 47 new cases, Kumta Taluk recorded the highest cases in Uttara Kannada district on Friday.

The district recorded 179 cases today.

Kumta was followed by Mundgod (27), Siddapura (21), Joida (19), Haliyal (16), Bhatkal (16), Honnavar (15), Yellapura (9), Karwar (6) and Sirsi (3).

Ankola which recorded a high number of cases yesterday did not have any positive cases today.

Death: One death was reported from Sirsi Taluk.
