Jewellery store burgled near Mangaluru
Mangaluru, Aug 06, 2021: Burglars entered a jewellery store at Mudipu near Mangaluru and took away silver ornaments worth about ₹ 10 thousand.
Police said the incident took place on the intervening night of August 5 and 6.
The burglars dug a hole in the left wall of ‘Gold King,’ and entered. But they had to hurry because of the alarm. However, they are said to have taken some silver chains which they could manage to get.
The stolen chains are said to be costing less than ₹ 10 thousand. As the burglars were in a hurry they left back the pickaxe that they had used to dig the wall.
Fingerprint experts and Dog Squad arrived at the crime spot for investigation. A case is registered at Konaje Police Station.
