Udupi, Aug 06, 2021: Sunil Kumar is visiting his hometown Karkala on Friday for the first time after taking charge as the cabinet minister.

He will be attending three felicitation programs today.

But he has a message for those who want to felicitate him.

It is common for the party workers, leaders, and public to wish the newly appointed minister with garlands and flowers. Most of these garlands end up in the cars of the ministers or are thrown away after the program.

But Sunil Kumar has a message for all those who want to wish him which he has posted on his twitter handle. He wants to use this felicitation for the public cause.

“Please do not bring garlands to felicitate me. If you want to give something then bring a Kannada book. I will donate them to Karkala Library,” he tweeted.
