Person arrested for Voyeurism
Mangaluru, Feb 13, 2021: Mangaluru City Police have arrested a person for videotaping a woman at hospital bathroom.
The incident took place on January 20 night. A person used his mobile and allegedly videotaped when a woman was having a bath in Yenepoya Hospital and fled from the spot.
Based on the complaint by the woman a case was registered at Ullal police station under IPC Section 354 (C) (voyeurism).
The police who started the investigation used the CCTV clippings to identify the person.
Based on this the police arrested Abdul Muneer alias Muneer (40) of Madani Nagara near Thokkkotu.
The police team in operation: Ranjith Kumar Bandaru (ACP), Inspector Sandeep G S, PSI Shivakumar K, PSI Revanasiddappa, and personnel Prashanth, Akbar, Sagara Devakatti.
