Ujire Kidnap Case: Reward for Cops
Mangaluru, Jan 10, 2021: Western Range IGP Devajyothi Ray has announced a cash reward for the team that rescued the child and arrested the accused in the Ujire Kidnap case.
An eight-year-old boy was kidnapped from Ujire on December 17, 2020, and the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of ₹17 crores. The police team had succeeded in finding the child within 36 hours and nabbing the accused.
