Kasturba, Udupi, and Karkala TMA Pai hospitals to remain closed on Aug 15 and 17
Manipal, Aug. 12, 2025: Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, Dr. T.M.A. Pai Hospital, Udupi, and Dr. T.M.A. Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala will remain closed for three days — August 15 (Independence Day) and August 17 (Sunday).
According to the management, the closure is in line with national and regular monthly holidays.
However, trauma and emergency services will remain operational 24×7. The public has been advised to plan non-urgent visits in advance.
