Mangaluru, Sept 15, 2024: The Koota Bandhu Mangalore Unit conducted its annual Upakarma event on Sunday at the Gurunarasimha Sabha Bhavana in Pandeshwar. Led by Vedamurthi Shivaram Karanth, the religious rituals saw participation from over 100 members of the Koota Bandhu community.

During the event, Koota Bandhus officially commenced the Gayatri Japa Sankalpa as a prelude to the Kota Gayatri Japa Yajna scheduled for October 26 and 27, organized by the Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha.

Addressing the gathering after the Upakarma ritual, Mangalore Unit President Sridhar Holla emphasized the need to unite all Koota Bandhus in the region. “We are planning to organize various programs throughout the year to bring all Koota Bandhus in Mangalore under one platform.
