Kateel to Host Nandini Gavyam
Kateel, Sept 12, 2024: The Nandini Gavyam exhibition, dedicated to showcasing and promoting cow-based products, is set to take place from September 13 to 15, 2024, at the Saraswati Sadana of Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple. This marks the second year of the event, which aims to raise awareness about the benefits and uses of cow products through displays and sales.
The exhibition will feature a wide range of cow-based products including buttermilk, ghee, incense sticks, cow dung, and gomutra for religious purposes. Additionally, health-related items such as shampoo, pain relief oil, tooth powder, soap, and face cream, along with daily-use products like mobile stands, radiation chips, keychains, digestive powders, and agricultural inputs like Jeevamruth and other Panchagavya products, will be available. Visitors can also avail themselves of free Panchagavya treatment consultations.
Producers and vendors from various parts of Karnataka, including Manipal, Kundapura, Bengaluru, Dharwad, Mysuru, Kinnigoli, and Perdoor, will participate in the event.

The inauguration of the Nandini Gavyam fair will be held at 10 am on Sept 13. The event will be inaugurated by Suman Shetty from Mangaluru, followed by a lecture at 11.30 am on the importance of cows in home gardening, presented by Dakshayini Vishweshwar. On September 14, at 11 am Sapna Avinash will deliver a lecture on organic gardening and the role of cows in sustainable farming.
