Udupi: Holiday for schools and PU Colleges on Aug 1
Udupi, July 31, 2024: In light of a heavy rain alert, a holiday has been declared for all Anganwadis, primary and high schools, and Pre-University (PU) colleges across the district on August 01.

The DC made an announcement in connection to this today evening. However, degree, postgraduate (PG), diploma, engineering, and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) colleges will remain open. The administration has advised these higher education institutions to relax attendance requirements for the day.
