Holiday for Schools and PU Colleges in these Taluks of Udupi district on July 31
Udupi, July 31, 2024: In response to heavy rain alert, holiday has been declared for all Anganwadis, primary and high schools, as well as Pre-University (PU) colleges in four taluk of the district on July 31.
Holiday has been declared for schools and PU Colleges in Karkala, Hebri, Kaup and Udupi Taluks by the respective Tahsildars. However, Degree, Postgraduate (PG), Diploma, Engineering, and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) colleges will remain open, although the administration has advised these institutions to waive mandatory attendance for the day.
