Holiday for schools and PU Colleges in these Taluks of Uttara Kannada on July 27

Karwar, July 26, 2024: In response to heavy rainfall in the region, the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has announced that schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in eleven taluks will remain closed on July 27.

Holiday has been declared for government, aided, and private primary and high schools, along with PU colleges, ITI, and Diploma Courses in the taluks of Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, Bhatkal, Dandeli, Joida, Yellapur, Sirsi, Siddapur and Haliyal. The decision aims to ensure the safety of students and staff during the adverse weather conditions.
